I'm Verity and I am a fully insured and registered Galen Canine Myotherapist based in West Sussex. I carry out home-visits across West Sussex and Surrey. Compensatory muscular pain can so often be overlooked, and my passion and purpose in life is to speak up for dogs and to help free them of discomfort and pain. I found Galen Myotherapy years ago after adopting my best friend, my collie cross, who I quickly realised was in a lot of pain. She had intermittent lameness, an odd gait, an imbalanced posture and she had several bald patches where she was constantly chewing her legs. This was heart-breaking to see, but after a few sessions of Galen Myotherapy she was a different dog. I then understood the power of Galen Myotherapy and the incredible impact it can have. This experience, coupled with my love of dogs, led me to qualify as a Galen Myotherapist in the hope of changing the lives of more dogs. I believe in working closely with dog owners to help them enhance the lives of their dogs, and I advocate a holistic and multi-modal approach.
