I enjoy working with all ages and breeds of dogs; however, my particular area of interest lies in working with running dogs; lurchers and greyhound racing survivors. Many of these dogs struggle with repetitive muscular strain, overexertion and long-term chronic effects of a racing injury.

Galen Myotherapy and supporting soft tissue techniques can help restore and maintain a dog's mobility throughout all their life stages, enhancing their performance, well-being and recovery.

In addition to clinical practice, I attend shows and events around the region and host practical workshops introducing owners and their dogs to ways in which we can work together to improve their musculoskeletal health. The most rewarding part of which is talking to proactive owners who are genuinely interested in how they can support their dogs. Sharing knowledge and experiences with fellow dog owners and considering ways we can make their dogs' lives easier alongside supporting their long-term mobility is what makes these interactions especially meaningful.

Galen Myotherapy's ability to elicit change within all the body's systems enables it to play a highly significant role in the welfare, well-being and longevity of any dog. Contributing to keeping my canine clients as fit and active as possible into old age is something that I find endlessly rewarding and frequently humbling.
