Who is the course for?
The course is aimed at owners, enthusiasts, and people who work with dogs who have no prior knowledge. It is 100% online so you can complete it wherever you feel most comfortable — and whenever it best fits into your schedule.
Our course and C.P.D. is suitable for:
- People looking for hands-on techniques to support their own dog
- Owners, enthusiasts, and people who work with dogs
- People wanting to get an introduction to Galen Myotherapy
- Students looking for an online completion course (4 CPD hours)
This is purely a theory course which can be completed online via our dedicated Student Portal.
The course is made up of 6 units and each unit has a handful of easy quizzes to complete to aid learning.
Unit 1 : Introduction to Galen Myotherapy
Unit 2 : Canine skeletal system and movement patterns
Unit 3 : Environmental factors and how they impact on a dog
Unit 4: Muscle discomfort indicators
Unit 5 : How to assess your dog's comfort
Unit 6 : Benefits of massage
How is the course accredited and assessed?
This is a completion only course. At the end of the course you will be awarded a certificate of completion.
